Hmm.. imagine you find your perfect band. They have the look, and their music has the vibe you love. How would you feel if you then found out this “band” was completely AI generated? The people, the songs, the albums. Does it matter? D you feel a sense of being “ripped off”? As a singer we use tools with AI capabilities to help create learning tracks for songs. We pay for the music copyright (or our Music Director might make/edit music himself) and then use AI tools to generate learning tracks that sound incredibly realistic. The use of AI to create music has been around for sometime. I’m sure this won’t be the last AI band that gets generated – interesting times ahead for the industry and creators of music content.
